OK here we go! This is what sold Jim on this 1956 Century, this Art Deco entrance handle. How cool is that!
All right - we need to get this out of here, so we can get started. Anyone know where the key to the bus is?
Great job Spencer & Gunner in removing the windows and doors. These were the hardest we have ever removed. They were sealed with a type of tar sealant; that's a tuffy!
We still have to remove the window frames. You can see the black tar like tape; that is tuff stuff.
Here are all the window frames and some siding and skin.
Here is a front view - the skin is being removed.
Door side, coming apart.
Another view of the door side.
Rear view see the broken 2 x 2 frame board? We can fix that!
Here are some of the interior items that were part of the previous owners camping gear; they kind of go with the old look!
There we go, caught running around without the skin again.
Well! Ready to go to the next step; removing the wall and the decking. That blue camper in the photo is The West Project. It came all the way from Kansas City, MO!
Well the 1956 Century has made it to the inside of the shop now. Wow!
OK we have removed all the 2 X 2 support boards.
One last photo of the blue interior. Bye, Bye Now!
Well as you can see, the wall are off and on to the decking. OK guys we are going to have to step it up a notch, we had a visitor from the YMCA; he looked a little scary (hit man or something). I think his name was John (Haven't seen him!)
Here are the walls waiting for there turn for rehab!
Looks like Spencer is hard at work removing that old decking; great job!
Theres your frame! Tune in next time when we change out the running gear and do our final floor layout. Our client has decided to have a wet bath in there after all! So long for now. Thanks for watching.
